Look no further. By marching in the Libertyville Days or Vernon Hills 4th of July parade with the Bookmobile, you'll feel the Cook love! Kids will cheer for you, parents will smile, and you'll leave feeling warm and fuzzy!
The parades require very little effort on your part: you need to show up at the parade meeting point around 8:30 a.m., help decorate the Bookmobile, and then walk about 1.5 miles, passing out goodies to adoring children. You even get paid to be a part of it all (not to mention time-and-a-half for the 4th of July parade!).
